~ Be Not Anxious ~

Be anxious for nothing,
let not worry rule the day
give your cares to the Lord
before you go your way.
For, Jesus promises,
through everything in prayer
you will find His rest when . . .
thanksgiving is also there.
Don’t get overly nervous,
don’t fuss and fret about
lest your anxiety will cast . . .
those tiny seeds of doubt.
For, Jesus knows you need,
Him to take away your fear
and a thankful heart will . . .
bring Him close and near.
Don’t let your anxiety,
rob you of your peace
instead let thankfulness . . .
be what you release!
