Because I am loved,
I am humble . . .
under my cares
I don’t crumble.
Because I am humble,
I am set free
from the devil
I am able to flee.
Because I am free,
I am forgiven
to holy living
I am driven.
Because I am forgiven,
I am saved
to the world’s ways
I’m no longer a slave.
Because I am saved,
I am strong
no more desire
I have to do wrong.
Because I was loved,
by Jesus first . . .
after righteousness
I hunger and thirst!
