I Choose Jesus ~

The world may choose,
 to believe what it may
 but I choose Jesus . . .
 the Truth, Life and Way.
The world may pick,
 one god over another
 but I choose Jesus . . .
 over any other.
The world may offer,
 instant gratification
 but I choose Jesus . . .
 for eternal satisfaction.
The world may decide,
 in God they don’t believe
 but I choose Jesus . . .
 and not to be deceived.
The world may opt for,
 the desires of the flesh
 but I choose Jesus . . .
 to keep my soul afresh.
The world may elect,
 a man to be their god
 but I choose Jesus . . .
 to spare me from His rod.
The world may want,
 to pursue after lust
 but I choose Jesus . . .
 in whom I put my trust.
The world may choose,
 another god over Thee
 but I choose You ~ Jesus
 because You first chose me!
