~ A Moment to Be Still ~

Lord, I need a quiet moment,
to be alone with You
a time not interrupted
by the things that I must do.
A time of surrender,
to Your perfect will
a time with You only
a moment to be still.
A time to reflect,
on Your amazing grace
a time to hold You close
a minute to embrace.
A time to recognize,
You are always here
a time to know Your touch
a second to feel You near.
A time to pay attention,
to let Your Spirit lead
a time to feel Your peace
an instant is all I need.
Lord, give me just a second,
maybe even two . . .
I need this very moment
alone with only You!
