The Lord Shepherds me,
to find in Him rest
whenever I feel
physically stressed.
He tells me to lay down,
my troubles at His feet
with promises to comfort
when emotionally beat.
The Lord takes me,
into places of peace
where all of my troubles
seem so far out of reach.
It’s there with Him I lie,
in the quietness provided
praying to still waters . . .
I will be led and guided.
The Lord Shepherds me,
to find spiritual stability
so whenever I’m troubled
I’ll have His tranquility!
