The birth of baby Jesus,
our Lord and precious Savior
holds a special place
in hearts that don’t waver.
For we embrace the light,
He brought to us this day
we know Christ is the truth
and to God . . . the only way.
We relish in the eternal joy,
of what His life means to us
our greatest pleasure comes
when in Him, we put our trust.
We know mercy’s fragrance,
the aroma of God’s grace
and we can hardly wait
till we meet Him face to face.
For our Prince of Peace,
came to save us from our sin
through His almighty power
His Spirit now lives within.
Each of us ~ who treasures,
the offer of His everlasting love
keeps their hearts and minds
on the eternal gift from above!
