As I witness,
the sun slowly set
I feel so blessed
my Savior to have met.
For, its beauty reveals,
the glory I will see
the day Jesus returns
in the clouds for me.
As the sun unfolds,
its nightly display
the hope I’ve found
its splendor relays.
Though it signals,
the end to another day
eternal joy . . .
it brings closer my way.
As I sit here watching,
the setting of the sun
I feel so blessed
to have found the Son!
