Flighty sparrow,
flitting all about
why do you fly
on wings of doubt?
Don’t you know,
God loves you
with a love . . .
steadfast and true?
Flighty sparrow,
head in the clouds
why do you follow
ungodly crowds?
Don’t you believe,
God values you
how much He cares
about all you do?
Flighty sparrows,
flitting there and here
need God to ease . . .
all their earthy fear!
