God, my Need,
my Want, My Desire
let Your Spirit in me
urge and inspire.
Quench my thirst,
feed my inner hunger
give me an appetite . . .
to absorb Your wonder.
God my Longing,
my Yearning, my Passion
let me take in every ounce
of Your loving compassion.
Provide for me each day,
my spiritual bread
so by Your spirit . . .
I’ll be constantly fed.
God, my Need,
My Dependence, my Reliance
may I always look to You
for counsel and guidance!

But my God shall supply all
your need according to his
riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
