Lord, I’m not focusing,
in on my fear . . .
instead I’ll center on
knowing You are near.
I’m going to be strong,
instead of being fretful
I’m going to have faith
bold and not fearful.
Lord, I’m going to be calm,
instead of being anxious
in You, I’ll stay relaxed
not jittery or nervous.
I’m not going to be,
afraid of anything
instead I will trust
You with everything.
Lord, I’ve got me courage,
powerful and true . . .
for You have given me
strength to wait on You!
