to GOD be the GLORY

~ Lift Me Higher Lord ~

When my troubles,
are overwhelming
before my cares
become unrelenting.

I look to Jesus,
to lift me higher
so His peace
I might acquire.

When my worries,
are too heavy
before my tears
become steady.

I go to Jesus,
my High Rock
and in the storm
with Him I walk.

When my fears,
begin to transpire
I look to Jesus
to lift me higher!

When my heart
is overwhelmed:
lead me to the Rock
that is higher than I.”
