God is a God,
of new beginnings
for He is a God
who is forgiving.
When we sin,
repent and confess
He gives us more grace
to onward press.
God is a God,
of fresh, clean starts
for He is a God
who knows our hearts.
When we fall,
or should we stumble
He helps us to be
more meek and humble.
God is a God,
of restarts and retakes
for God pardons . . .
all of our mistakes!
