Lord, may I cling to You,
with all of my heart
may nothing ever cause
the two of us to part.
May I obey the words,
You once gently spoke
to love others as myself
even if I am provoked.
May I walk in the steps,
of righteous, holy living
so I may never have
any doubt or misgivings.
May I keep following,
all of Your commands
may I serve only You
as Your Word demands.
May I use the gifts,
that to me were given
so I can spread the Word
that all can be forgiven.
Lord, may I serve You,
with all my heart and soul
may over both of them
You have complete control!
