Lord, let me not be,
so easy on me
so that my faults
I cannot see.
For, You know my heart,
better than I . . .
from You I can’t hide
the plank in my eye.
Lord, help me to be,
with myself forthright
so I don’t come across
as not being contrite.
For, You know my thoughts,
better than I
You can always see
through my every lie.
Lord, be honest with me,
as my heart You ponder
for I don’t want You to be . . .
to me a one-time wonder!
