Lord, You’ll never leave me,
this I know is a fact
for You have my front
and You guard my back.
You see all my comings,
and notice wherever I go
Your rod and staff
makes my faith grow.
For, they lead and direct me,
to pastures where I gleam
the truth of Your Spirit
beyond valleys green.
In the middle of my troubles,
there I can find You
in the midst of my worries
You are there too.
Your eyes are ever on me,
Your ears listen to my prayers
I can always trust You
to take from me my cares.
Lord, You’re my future hope,
my brighter eternal day
where for eternity we’ll be
if I let You lead the way!
