takes obedience
it takes a faith
full of resilience.
It takes meekness,
zeal and devotion
it takes a life
under submission.
Living on the Vine,
takes enduring
it takes a trust
securely assuring.
It takes training,
divine direction
it takes a heart
open to instruction.
A life on the Vine,
takes faithful abiding
if good fruit . . .
it want’s to be providing!
