Make God first in your life,
put Him before you . . .
open up your heart to Him
then watch what He can do.
He’ll guide you into valleys,
ripe and lush and green
where you’ll find His peace
to gather, reap and glean.
Put God ahead of you,
let Him guide you each day
open up your mind to Him
then let Him lead the way.
He’ll take you to mountains,
rough and tough and steep
where you’ll find His strength,
to climb, to mount, to leap.
Make God first in your life,
in your soul, mind and heart
put God before you . . .
upon each morning start!
