May the love of God,
our eager heart’s still . . .
may we have His peace
waiting for His will.
For what He promised,
is yet to be done . . .
as we anticipate
the coming of His Son.
May the love of God,
our heart’s safely keep
as one of His own
beloved and dear sheep.
For what He has spoken,
will surely come true
when Jesus returns
one day for me and you.
May the love of God,
our patient heart’s fill . . .
as we eagerly await
may His calm they still!
