Refine me O’ Lord,
 purify me through and through
 remove all my imperfections
 until I see only You.
Refine me O’ Lord,
 purge the old man out of me
 expose my own wickedness
 till Your goodness lives in me.
Refine me O’ Lord,
 take me through the fire
 until it’s only You
 that my heart desires.
Refine me O ‘ Lord,
 filter Your love through me
 polish Your image into my soul
 till Your light shines in me.
Refine me O’ Lord,
 test me in Your truth and way
 perfect in me a faultless heart
 so from You ~ I’ll never stray.
Refine me O’ Lord,
 purify me through and through
 remove all my imperfections
 so I can spend eternity with You!
