~ If We Were To ~

If we were to treat others,
as we would like to be
oh, what a much better world
would we all see.
If we were to respect others,
for who they were
oh, what a much better world
we would incur.
If we were to value others,
like we do personally
oh, what a much better world
we would have essentially.
If we were to regard others,
with high esteem
oh, what a much better world
it would truly seem.
If we were to love others . . .
like Jesus and learn to forgive
oh, what a much better world
in which we would all live!
