It’s a daily thing,
this Christian walk
it’s a one-step-at-a-time thing
this Christian walk.
It’s a journey,
at times a troublesome one
it’s a battle
with Satan that must be won.
It’s a voyage,
one storm right after another
it’s a struggle
to keep our faith from going under.
It’s a passage,
from the darkness into the light
it’s an encounter
needing all our strength and might.
It’s an expedition,
with our very own cross to bear
it’s a fight
not to buckle under from our care.
It’s a daily thing,
this Christian walk
it’s a one-step-at-a-time thing
to walk this Christian walk!
