rule your mind today
may to its quieting lull
your heart give way.
May you experience,
God’s tranquility
may it fill you with
grace and humility.
May you relish,
the settled quietness
may you soak up
the sedated peacefulness.
May you encounter,
God’s perfect stillness
may you receive
His stilling calmness.
May the peace of God,
ease your worried mind
may in your heart
His serenity you find!
