#throwbackpoem: The Remorseful Appeal

to GOD be the GLORY

~ The Remorseful Appeal ~

By Deborah Ann

God hears our cries,
our sins He knows
He sees the tears
from our eyes flow.

God sees us weeping,
over our disgrace
He knows our need
for His merciful grace.

God listens to our sobs,
as His name we call
He watches the tears
from broken hearts fall.

God hears the outcry,
of our remorseful appeal
He knows by Jesus’ stripes
our lives He can heal.

God understands our cries,
for His own Son, too wept
and with His in a bottle
all of our tears are kept!

Psalm 56:8

“Thou tellest my wanderings:
put thou my tears into
thy bottle:
are they not in thy book?”
