~ The Time Is Getting Short ~

The time is impending,
satan is working overtime
we need to be ready . . .
for Jesus could come anytime.
We need to be aware,
of the ticking of the clock
for the devil’s out prowling
to devour up His flock.
The time is approaching,
each day it’s getting clearer
the awaited return of Christ
is getting so much nearer.
We need to be prepared,
as the hours roll on by
for in a second we may see
the twinkling in our eye.
The time is getting short,
each day we’re getting closer
to when Jesus comes again
and we must remain sober!

And that, knowing the time,
that now it is high time
to awake out of sleep:
for now is our salvation
nearer than when we believed.
