A new, clean heart,
in me God created
ever since my desires
for the world abated.
Now my hopes,
are set on things above
not on my possessions
that I once so loved.
A new heart of flesh,
God put into me
with the grace to believe
in what I can’t see.
Now my wants,
are heaven centered
once to Jesus my life
I fully surrendered.
A new, clean heart,
once cold and stony
now sees right through . . .
all of satan’s baloney!
