Today’s Poem: God, My Comforter

to GOD be the GLORY

~ God, My Comforter ~

By Deborah Ann

God, my Comforter,
my Helper, my Aide
when I am fired tested
You provide me shade.

Your wings cover me,
under them I stay
while the storms of life
steady blow my way.

God my Comforter,
my Calmness, my Peace
on me Your mercy
each day You release.

When I am troubled,
You make me for You strong
so I may help others
when trials too come along.

God my Comforter,
my Guard, my Protector
may I be for You . . .
a comfort injector!

2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Blessed be God,
even the Father of our Lord
Jesus Christ, the Father of
mercies, and the God of all comfort;

Who comforteth us in all our tribulation,
that we may be able to comfort them which
are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith
we ourselves are comforted of God.

Psalm 71:21

Thou shalt increase my greatness,
and comfort me on every side.
