If for us God has plans,
if He knows our future
why don’t we believe
and trust Him sooner?
If He has for us good things,
if He provides our needs
why don’t we follow Him
regardless of where He leads?
If God gives us joy,
if He fills us with peace
why doesn’t our faith in Him
continue to increase?
If He provides our strength
if He equips us with power
why then does our hope
turn so often sour?
If we trust and believe,
God plans and not our own
to His guidance we’d be . . .
more spiritually prone!
