I got me a direct connection,
don’t need to call nine-one-one
for I have a straight line . . .
to the Three-in-One.
When my heart is troubled,
Jesus promises to be there
to answer my cry for help
so my burdens He can bear.
When I’m feeling anxious,
I have nothing to fear
I just call upon His light
to make my way clear.
When I’m all alone,
I call upon His grace
He always has an answer
for the loneliness I face.
I don’t need a cell phone,
don’t need to text or tweet
I just call upon my Lord
lay my troubles at His feet!
