~ Christ Preached ~

If more preachers,
Christ would preach
more sinners . . .
they could reach.
If Jesus’ message,
from pulpits they’d tell
less unsaved . . .
would go to hell.
If more preachers,
Christ would preach
more lost sheep . . .
they could teach.
If the moral law,
they were to read
less wanderers . . .
they would breed.
If more preachers,
Christ would preach
more unbelievers . . .
may heed their speech!

Preach the word;
be instant in season,
out of season; reprove,
rebuke, exhort with all
long suffering and doctrine.
For the wages of sin is death;
but the gift of God is eternal
life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
