God, my Heart,
my Life, my Soul
You have made me
complete and whole.
For You’ve given me,
a heart of flesh . . .
so my spirit with Yours
could interlock and mesh.
God, my Mind,
my Thought, my Conscience
Your Word has shown me
sin and its consequence.
For it’s active and piercing,
discerning and living
trains and equips me
to keep on daily striving.
God, my Heart,
I’m so glad You I found
for my mind is at peace . . .
knowing I’m heaven bound!

A new heart also will I give you,
and a new spirit will I put within you:
and I will take away the stony heart
out of your flesh, and I will give
you an heart of flesh.
For they that are after the flesh
do mind the things of the flesh;
but they that are after the
Spirit the things of the Spirit.
For to be carnally minded is death;
but to be spiritually minded
is life and peace.
