If we know all things,
work for our own good
why don’t we trust God
as we know we should?
For if we love Him,
no matter what happens
it’s so that our faith
He can hone and sharpen.
If we believe all things,
by God are appointed
why are we cast down
whenever disappointed?
For if we are called,
to knowing His perfect will
regardless what transpires
our heart’s will remain still.
If all things have a purpose,
if God is working them together
it’s for our own good . . .
so we can be with Him forever!

them that love God, to them
who are the called according
to his purpose.
