I don’t put my faith,
in what man can offer me
my hope is only set in . . .
things I cannot yet see.

I don’t put my trust,
in worldly lusts or bling
my hope is only set in . . .
what Jesus is going to bring.

I don’t put my faith,
in the government
my hope is only set in . . .
God’s enpowerment.

I don’t put my trust,
in fleshly desires
my hope is only set in . . .
doing what God requires.

I don’t put my faith,
in myself or mankind
my hope is only set in . . .
God’s purposes by design!
