~ My Portion ~

The Lord is my portion,
He is my all and all
He satisfies my inner needs
when on His name I call.
I lack not one good thing,
when to Him I injure
He grants my spiritual wants
for He is my faith supplier.
The Lord is my contentment,
He is my true happiness
He gives my heart and soul
assurance, hope and gladness.
I know I can count on Him,
to make my cup full . . .
everything else is just fluff
when push comes to pull.
The Lord is my portion,
on His mercy I can rely
these are His promises
in my life, I daily apply!
