It’s so important,
to guard our hearts
for God’s treasures
into them, He imparts.

For, our hearts are now,
the wellspring to life
without God’s blessings
we’d have only strife.

We need to be diligent,
to keep our hearts pure
we must remain hopeful
in our faith secure.

For,  in our hearts,
the Holy Spirit dwells
we must protect them
from the fires of hell.

We need to keep them,
with God always right
so He can fill them
with the Truth and Light.

It’s so important,
to keep our hearts guarded
lest we become to God . . .
once again hard-hearted!
