God’s purpose is greater,
than this one of mine
for His intentions are . . .
of an eternal design.
God’s plans are smarter,
than the ones I make
for His concepts are . . .
for my soul’s own fate.
God’s ways are better,
than the ones I attempt
for His commands are . . .
righteously correct.
God’s directions are wiser,
than the ones I seek
for His instructions are . . .
to make me wise and meek.
God’s greater purpose,
I’ve come to believe . . .
for without His Son
grace I’d never receive!
