~ My Morning Song ~

Early in the morning,
before the sun is ablaze
I give a shout of joy
with a song of heartfelt praise.
I make a sweet melody,
to show God my gratitude
as I sing out my praises
with a joyful attitude.
Early in the morning,
before the sun begins to rise
I thank God for His kindness
under the darken skies.
I clap my hands together,
lift my arms up in praise
as I give my day to the Lord
I thank Him for His ways.
While the dew is still set,
on the morning lawn
while the house is dark
before there is a new dawn.
I show my thankfulness,
to the Lord up above
and lift up my heart-song
to honor His steadfast love.
When my day is over,
as the sun dims its blazing light
I thank God for His faithfulness
all though the starry night!
