~ My Secret Place ~

In that secret place,
is where I long to dwell
it’s when with my soul
all is quiet and well.
Underneath the shadow,
of God’s love and grace
it’s where my heart finds
a quiet resting place.
With the most High,
is where I yearn to be
it’s when in my mind
a calm settles in me.
With the Almighty,
in unmoved solitude
is where I find God’s
merciful quietude.
In that secret place,
is where with God I find
true peace and stillness
for my heart and mind!
