Lord, carry me upon Your grace,
until the day I see Your face . . .
and when I’m down and feeling low
let Your joy in me freely flow.
When I need a hand to hold,
give me Yours so I’ll be bold
and when I need a loving friend
be mine until the very end.
Lord, lift my spirits in Your love,
send Your mercies to me from above
and when I need a shoulder to cry on
let it be Your name that I call upon.
When I’m hurting and I’m in pain,
let Your strength be my restrain
and when it gets too much for me
help me to put my trust in Thee.
Lord, carry me upon Your grace,
so I may soar above all things
and if air You see me losing . . .
keep Your wings for me still moving!
