Jesus gave Himself for me,
He gave Himself for you
He gave Himself for each
one in the world too.
Jesus died for our sins,
He gave up His life
so we’d be delivered
from its damning strife.
Jesus gave Himself for all,
He gave Himself to set free
He gave Himself to break
on us, satan’s authority.
Jesus became the ransom,
His life was the price
so one day with Him
we could be in paradise.
Jesus gave Himself for you,
He gave Himself for me . . .
so from sin we’d be freed
if we so choose to be!
