God promises to help us,
when fighting battles
He promises to keep us
from getting rattled.
He gives us the strength,
to fight and contend
He gives us the power
our faith to defend.
God promises to keep us,
secure and protected
He promises to help us
stay to Him connected.
He gives us the courage,
never to be afraid
He gives us the trust
not to be dismayed.
God promises His help,
whenever we need it . . .
He promises to uphold us
in both heart and spirit!
